Engineer turned Social Impact Advocate. Building strategy, systems, and scale for education & inclusion.
I am currently working on strategic initiatives at the Executive Director's office of MIT World Peace University. My journey from software engineering to the social sector and education has been driven by a passion for impactful change.
After graduating with an engineering degree from MIT College of Engineering, Pune, I joined Accenture. However, my true calling lay in social impact, which led me to leave the corporate world in 2020 and found the SkillSlate Foundation. Since then, SkillSlate has trained over 25,000 individuals across 100+ organizations in four countries.
To scale my efforts, I joined Mahatma Gandhi Seva Sangh (MGSS) as CEO. We focus on disability rehabilitation through our 10+ District Disability Rehabilitation Centers in Maharashtra, impacting over 100,000 lives. Our work has been recognized with two Presidential National Awards from the Government of India.
In 2021, I received admission to Harvard University and the London School of Economics but chose to stay in India to continue making a difference. This commitment also led me to pursue an MBA at IIM Kozhikode, from where I graduated in 2024 as a gold medalist. I have since been published in Forbes and featured in Business Standard and The Print.
Today, I am focused on developing strategies that further social impact and education, leveraging my experience to create sustainable, large-scale change.
I have published a self-help book A Leap Within and have written over 2000 quotations.
Born: India. Curious by default. Slightly restless since childhood. Asked too many questions. Eventually made it a career.
Education:
• Engineering from MIT College of Engineering, Pune – learned how systems work
• MBA from IIM Kozhikode (2024, Gold Medalist) – learned how humans work
• Admitted to Harvard University & London School of Economics – chose impact over ivy
Professional Journey:
Started as a software engineer at Accenture. Realized spreadsheets don’t change lives
unless people do. Left corporate comfort in 2020 to build SkillSlate Foundation.
SkillSlate trained 25,000+ individuals across 100+ organizations in 4 countries. Later became CEO of Mahatma Gandhi Seva Sangh (MGSS), scaling disability rehabilitation to 100,000+ beneficiaries through district-level centers.
Earned two Presidential National Awards along the way. Still believes awards matter only if work continues the next day.
Current Focus:
Strategic growth, education reform, policy implementation, inclusive systems,
and building institutions that outlast individuals.
Publications & Writing:
Author of A Leap Within. Writer of 2000+ quotations.
Featured in Forbes, Business Standard, The Print.
Fun fact: I enjoy building systems, breaking assumptions, and occasionally breaking deadlines only to fix them better.
In my last organization, I helped scale the impact to 100K persons with disabilities across Maharashtra and Goa and earned Two National Awards from the President of India.

It has the potential to deliver far more than the small investment you make. A must-read for those who love life and aspire to lead a meaningful lifestyle. Brace yourself to take “A Leap Within.”
